Isn't it time for some real furniture

Isn't it time to graduate into the room of your choice. That bathtub that you called a sofa, Is still a bathtub with some nasty cushions on it. It is not creative. It is just disgusting.I am all for thrift store finds and consignment shops. You might even find me at a garage sale.Only if the furniture looks inviting on the lawn. It is about making quality choices. You don't have to be rich to have a beautiful home. So what are you waiting for. A bath tub. Get real.
Invest into your interiors. You live there. Your home should be a reflection of you, your taste, your lifestyle, your budget.(you can have a beautiful home even with a small budget).
It is time to get rid of those bad things that you had in college.Or that trendy object some host from a do it yourself tv program told you that you needed.

When purchasing an upholstered piece. Think about the craftsmanship that was put into it. Ask about the frame. It is made of solid hardwood? It is structurally sound?
Is it comfortable? Will it fit through your door at home? YES!SIZE DOES MATTER. the wrong size can throw the whole room out of whack. That would be a costly error.

A professional designer can take your floor plans and work out a furniture layout for you and help you make quality choices for your home. Their expertise can guide you in making important decisions that you haven't even thought about.
If you just don't know what to do. Do something. You can't sit in that bathtub forever. It is time to settle down and get comfortable with your space. Like Martha always says "Make it beautiful".

take care,

John
